ALAFNA
The Latin-American Symposia on Nuclear Physics and Applications (LASNPA) take place every two years since 1995, in different countries of Latin America: Venezuela (1995, 1997), Colombia (1999, 2015), Mexico (2001), Brazil (2003), Argentina (2005), Peru (2007), Chile (2009), Ecuador (2011), Uruguay (2013), Cuba (2017), Costa Rica (2020) and Mexico (2022).

Since its first edition the Symposia is the flagship for Latin-American groups and is dedicated to disseminating the advances of nuclear science and related fields, from the fundamental to the applied research, with emphasis on the topics developed by the Latin-American research groups. The event provides a high-quality exchange and networking forum for researchers, professionals, and students, gathering an international audience from all over the world. The event promote a space where the Latin-American community can present advances, new concepts and innovative approaches, learn about new trends and solutions, and receive feedback from specialists in diverse fields. This series of symposia is attended by the most important nuclear physics community of Latin America and has the participation of scientists from the USA, Europe and Asia.
